Slight wear/rubbing on DJ edges. Coding sticker on DJ spine. Not price clipped. Front free endpaper has been removed. A Green library stamp has been used regularly throughout the book and affects the last line or two of text on some pages, but does not obscure the text to any degree. Brown boards. Top edges of pages are soiled/foxed. Small thumb nail creases/tears on the top edges of a few pages(no text affected). clean, tight pages. Strong binding. No inscriptions. . Good. Hardcover. First Thus. 1960.

Synopsis

Graham Greene (1904–1991) worked as a journalist and critic, and was later employed by the foreign office. His many books include The Third Man , The Comedians and Travels with My Aunt . He is the subject of an acclaimed three-volume biography by Norman Sherry.
