Auckland: University of Auckland. Very Good with no dust jacket. 1958. Hardcover. Previous owner's signature. Small newspaper clipping obituary included loosely - "Poet and boatrocker. Poetry had a flowering in Auckland in the 1930s when the work of A. R. D. Fairburn, Allen Curnow and R. A. K. Mason (q.v.) among others appeared in the magazine Phoenix." Also a newspaper clipping of the poem "Evening" loosely included.; 117 pages + portrait frontispiece. Pinkish brown cloth boards with black lettering on spine. Page dimensions: 215 x 139mm. The bibliography has 764 entries, including appearances in periodicals and newspapers. The first entry is for a prize-winning essay "Children's organ recital" in a competition for school children, published in the Star newspaper in 1918. ; Monograph Series No. 3; 8vo .
