The photos in this book are published by courtesy of the Air Ministry and the USSR Embassy, London. Foreword by Wing-commander H. N. G. Isherwood. The author served as an Artillery Observation Officer in the Royal Flying corps in both WWI and II. During WWII he served with Bomber, Fighter and Coastal Commands; on two expeditions to France with the B.E.F. and to North Russia.
