Foolscap folio, [iv], viii, 480 pages with numerous illustrations from photographs plus a folding map; an errata slip is mounted on the inside surface of the front cover. Pictorial card covers a little creased and rubbed; gift inscription on the title page; a very good copy. The brief chronological history (pages iii-v) indicates that flying training commenced at Geraldton on 10 March 1941, and on 31 May 1945 'No 4 SFTS ceased to exist'.
