John Updike is the recipient of almost every major artistic and literary honor, including the National Medal of the Arts and the Pulitzer Prize for Literature (twice); his most famous novels are "The Centaur," for which he won the National Book Award, "Couples" "The Witches of Eastwick," and the other two "Rabbit" books including "Rabbit,Run," and "Rabbit is Rich," for which he also won the Pulitzer Prize along with the 1981 National Book Critics Circle Award for Fiction. A significant book by a significant author.
Synopsis
Rabbit Redux is a 1971 novel by John Updike. It is the second book in his "Rabbit" series, which begins with Rabbit, Run, and is followed by Rabbit Is Rich and Rabbit At Rest. There is also a related 2001 novella, Rabbit Remembered.
