About This Item
Washington D.C.: U.S. Dept. of the Interior, 1950. Technical study of these engaging but plaguey beasts. USDI Fish and Wildlife Service pamphlet North American Fauna Number 60. Goldman left the manuscript completed in 1940, when its publication was delayed by the war; he died before it was published and in the meantime, some additional papers on raccoons were published, so the bibliography was revised by Jackson, who added a foreword and appendix. Text clean; vi, 153 pages, bibliography, 22 b/w plates, 2 maps.. First Edition. Paperback. Very Good. 6" by 9".
