No owners' marks; pages are clean, crisp and bright; binding is square and tight, hard cover only very faintly shelf-rubbed at the spine ends, otherwise beautifully kept. Dustjacket is price-clipped and shows some very light toning along the spine, a short tear at the top front right, and some rubbing at the spine heel, otherwise excellent.

- Spine
- The outer portion of a book which covers the actual binding. The spine usually faces outward when a book is placed on a shelf....

- Heel
- The lower most portion of the spine when the book is standing vertically.
