From back of case: "In this cassette production, Dinah Sheridan, who played the part of the children's mother in the film, reads the story. It is a story about a family who, because the father suddenly has to go away, are forced to move from their home in a London suburb to a house called 'Three Chimneys' in the country... The local Railway and of course the Railway Station...becomes the centre of all their adventures." Edgewear and light wear to cardstock case, small spot on back cover, light wear to cassette cases. . Audio Cassette. Good/No Jacket. 16mo - over 5¾" - 6¾" tall.
Synopsis
The Railway Children is a children's book by Edith Nesbit, originally serialised in The London Magazine during 1905 and first published in book form in 1906. It tells the tale of children whose father is mysteriously taken away one night and they move with their mother to live in the country, where the railway and those who work and travel on it become the center of their lives.
