Pages are moderately tanned and foxed throughout, heavier at end-papers, paste-downs and text-block edges. Plates are moderately tanned with some foxing. Binding remains firm. Boards have heavy edge-wear with bumping to corners, crushing to spine ends and rub wear all over. Mild crushing to spine ends. Book has a slight forward lean. Gilt lettering is darkened. Spine cloth is worn and creased.
