First Edition. 8vo. pp xiv 380; b/w frontispiece, title page, index and fold out map to the rear. Olive cloth binding, bevelled edges, gilt lettering to the spine and gilt vignette to the front board, light wear. Contents generally clean and tight, coated endpapers unmarked , some foxing to the first few pages and tissue guard, top edges gilt. A very good copy.
