Minor foxing and toning but very good. From the library of Philippe Ricord.
First Edition. An official report on the progress of surgery in France, published as part of the French Minister of Public Instruction's Recueil de rapports sur les progrès des sciences et des lettres en France. The report was written by Guyon and Labbé at the suggestion of Denonvilliers, Nélaton and Velpeau, who had been originally selected for the task but were unable to take it on due to professional obligations.
