Macmillan And Co, 1939. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1939. Reprinted. 204 pages. No dust jacket. Blue cloth with gilt titles to spine. First series. Pages have slight foxing, tanning and minor thumbing. Many dog-eared corners and creases. Previous owner's inscription to front endpaper. Heavy foxing to gutters. Slight ink stain to text block edge. Boards have some edge wear, with some bumping and fraying to corners, while spine ends are crushed and frayed. Rather scratched, rubbed and marked overall. Some water staining to front and rear. Spine is noticeably sunned. Book has a moderate forward lean. Gilt is dulled and worn.
