327 pgs. October 1903. CONDITION: Clean, unstained endpaper, except back endpaper has small pencil and pen mark - less than one inch. The outside is clean; one 1/2 inch white type line mark on front cover.There is fraying along the top and bottom edges of the spine; back cover has a slight wear. The inside is in clean condition. The half title page has a couple of large size name scribbled in pencil. Book is without marks or writings, pages are clean, except page 327 has discoloration on edge. All the pages are present in book. Reading on p. 327, line 13: " bricks, glowing in the October sun." and on p. 325: "Don't turn in at the side." Green pictorial cloth. Slight fray/bend on bottom right cover.

Synopsis

Rebecca of Sunnybrook Farm is a classic American 1903 children's novel by Kate Douglas Wiggin. Rebecca Rowena Randall goes to live with her two stern aunts in the village of Riverboro in Maine. Her joy for life ends up inspiring them. She faces many trials in her young life, but comes through them with more wisdom and understanding. Wiggin wrote a sequel, New Chronicles of Rebecca.
