New York: Random House, 1959. Hardcover. Fine/very good. Glossy illustrated hardcover with color photo of Shirley Temple as the title character; 250 pp. Illustrated with photos from the movie. Near fine, bright, minor rubbing to the bottom edge and the usual embrowning to the pages. In original dust jacket, bright and crisp with narrow creasing and wear top edge and head of spine.
Synopsis
Rebecca of Sunnybrook Farm is a classic American 1903 children's novel by Kate Douglas Wiggin. Rebecca Rowena Randall goes to live with her two stern aunts in the village of Riverboro in Maine. Her joy for life ends up inspiring them. She faces many trials in her young life, but comes through them with more wisdom and understanding. Wiggin wrote a sequel, New Chronicles of Rebecca.
