Original red cloth with gilt bands and lettering. Copy of Maj. J. M. Pratt dated 1883 who is mentioned in several passages in the book. Manuscript letter tipped in addressed to a Mr. Hagley declining an invitation to dine SIGNED by Rea? Or Gea? Roberts dated 1882. This is Lt. Gen. Frederick Sleigh Roberts? Frontispiece is of Roberts. Endpapers may be new? Near Fine Copy. Signed VIP. 1st. Hardcover. Fine. Book.
