Vol II - pp236 with full page facsimiles throughout of original drafts. Hardcovers issued without dust jackets in slipcase. Red cloth slipcase with grey paper label to spine in very good condition with a little bobbling to cloth. Both volumes with same red cloth and labels in very good condition. Inside both volumes all pages in near fine condition. A very good set. This is a heavy book and postage may be extra for overseas.
Synopsis
The Red Badge of Courage is an 1895 war novel by American author Stephen Crane. It is considered one of the most influential works in American literature. The novel, a depiction on the cruelty of the American Civil War, features a young recruit who overcomes initial fears to become a hero on the battlefield. The book made Crane an international success.
