McMinnville, Oregon: Author's Edition, 1928. Presumed First Edition . Hardcover. Very Good/Good. Signed by the author in pencil on the first blank endpaper. Pictorial cloth covers nice and bright, floral endpapers, frontispiece of Testament Falls, Tillamook County, Oregon, solid binding, clean and unmarked, very nice. The rare dust jacket is worn with small chips along edges, a few short tears, the paper is age toned especially the spine panel, dj and is now in a new protective mylar sleeve.

This book has been read and shows some wear but still a signed copy of what looks like a interesting read. The cover is bright with some wear. There is a short tear at the bottom spine end . Frontis. illustration of Playland Falls, Tillamook County, Oregon by the author's son F. G. Cooper. Author's Edition stated on title page. Dark yellow cloth, titles and illustrations printed in red on the cover and spine, decorated endpapers: author signed in pencil on a blank preliminary, small stain to upper corner of back board, edges lightly rubbed, very faint toning to leaves. In the illustrated dust jacket printed red on beige: spine darkened, edges chipped with cello tape repairs, short closed tears, stain to upper corner of back panel. Set in the Klamath country, this story "portrays the characteristics of the Indians under extraordinary circumstances."
