About This Item
NY: Grosset & Dunlap; (1920). First Edition . Hardcover. Very good in yellowish beige cloth with orange lettering on the front board, and black lettering on the spine. Scarce dust jacket is not present. Owner's small stamp on front endpaper. The cloth is worn in the gutters and at the corners, and there is a bump with a 1" tear in the cloth on the bottom of the rear board. The cloth is also a little soiled generally. No frontispiece, eleven pages of ads at the rear, with The Last of the Great Scouts being the last of eleven books listed on the first page of ads. Hinges tight, no marks except small stamp on interior pages; tight and square. A book of early baseball stories by Zane Grey, which were previously published in magazines.
