About This Item

San Francisco: Book Club of California, (1983). First edition. Hardcover. Fine/very good. 112 pp., 25 sepia-toned photographic plates, oblong quarto, original natural linen cloth over boards, pictorial inset on front cover. Fine in moderately worn glassine jacket

At time of publication only 26 copies of the 1884 original Cherry edition of Redwood and lumbering were known to exist, of which "no two contain the same illustrations."
