Folio. 257 pp., with 37 plates, including the plate at page 42 subsequently suppressed by censors. Foxing to some plates, mostly in margins of the affected plates, and on some text pages. Page 193 has close tear from base, about three inches. Text block is tight. Four raised bands on spine. Spine leather dry, cracked. Boards a bit soiled. Overall a good copy.
