Very Good. xvi - 134 ,27 full page plates and 3 maps + errata slip.Circular blind stamp to title page blank margin and dedication page, noting "Presentation by the Publishers" also blind Stamp of Peter Clay, Peter republished the book in 1994. Pencil ownership name to inner blank dated 1876. The contents clean and tight . publishers green cloth binding gilt title to upper board within gilt ruled and decorated frames. The binding clean and tight with no splits or marks.Also issued in a different binding and fewer illustrations, also as a collection of plates. Mostly covers fenland drainage and history Whittlesea Mere but includes some shooting. The plates show life in the fens in the 19th century.
