Edinburgh: Edmonson and Douglas, 1877. Leather. Very Good Indeed. 7" by 5". None. A nicely bound copy of Dean Ramsay's Reminiscences. A reprinted and enlarged copy of the twenty-second edition. The twenty-second edition was the final edition to be published in the author's lifetime with his corrections and additions. With a memoir of Dean Ramsay to the preface by Cosmo Innes, a Scottish advocate, judge, historian and antiquary. Reverend Edward Bannerman Ramsay, or Dean Ramsay, was a clergyman of the Scottish Episcopal Church and Dean of Edinburgh. This work is his only literary publication. It wa co-written with his friend Cosmo Innes. The book is a collection of essays which is full of the personality of the author as well as many traits and anecdotes. In a half morocco binding with cloth covered boards. Externally, very smart with a small amount of rubbing to the head and tail of spine and to the extremities. A few marks to cloth covered boards. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are slightly age toned with spotting to the endpapers and the odd instance of light scattered spots. Very Good Indeed
