Illustrated with a frontispiece and twenty-nine images across twenty-two plates. Collated complete. A collection of reminiscences and anecdotes from transatlantic travel, with chapters entitled: All around the world, The "Saxonia", Cruises in the Mediterranean, The Atlantic in war time, A Christmas trip, and more. Written by Charles T. Spedding, a British sailor and writer, for many years Purser of the Aquitania. In the original blue cloth binding. Externally, smart with rubbing and minor bumping to the extremities. Fading to the spine with the odd small mark to the boards. A split in the cloth to the head of the spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with the odd spot or handling mark. Light spotting and age toning to the endpapers. Good
