" With over six billion people on our planet, if we do nothing but coast through life, it will make very little difference in the bigger scheme of things. On the other hand, most of the amazing things that have happened in human history have been attributed to some individual who has had a big dream or a purpose in life that, when executed, affected many people for good, and occasionally for ill. It all boils down to whether or not we want to make a positive difference in the lives of others. There is nothing wrong with wanting a decent or above-average lifestyle, but there has to be more than that for a meaningful, fulfilling destiny. Yes, climb the mountain of your dreams, but not so the world can see you, but so you can see the world. You can reach the top of your mountain if you have a positive attitude and an unshakeable focus. There will be many obstacles but that is just part of the journey. Others have, so why not you? The world needs people who are Destiny bound. Are you ready? About the Author: Jim was born in Saskatchewan, Canada, and grew up in a small town in Alberta. He started his adult life as a teacher. After graduating from teacher training at the University of Alberta in 1962, he taught for just two years before a friend introduced him to the world of business. He went into business for himself at 22 and has been a very successful entrepreneur ever since." He has served as the government-appointed chairman of the Foundation Board for Trinity Western University, as a task force member on small business for the province of British Columbia, and as a member and the chairman of nine charitable and religious organizations over the past 38 years. He was also chairman of World Serve for 37 years. Jim has just completed serving for the past five years as Governance and Oversight Advisor for the Independent Business Owners Association International, out of Grand Rapids, Michigan, while always maintaining residence in British Columbia, Canada. His business operates in seven countries and territories. As independent business owners, Jim and his wife have received many awards in the direct marketing industry, including the first Mark of Distinction Award from the DSA of Canada.
