This copy taken in when brand new and stamped by Oregon State Library March 20, 1915, and deaccessioned maybe 95 years later. Maps, and scads of scarce photographic images of an already-then-quickly-fading Native-American subsistence life. Report dated December 31st, 1914, deals in depth with the fishing industry - salmon (trapping, purse seining, haul or beach seining, gill-netting, other methods, seasons, closed seasons/water and exemptions, salteries, power-boat trolling, curing, enemies of Salmon, etc. Also Halibut, Codfish, Herring, Whaling, Trout, Taxation, Hatchery Work, Fishery Law Enforcement, Indians and Aleuts, Pollution, Fur-Bearing Animals, Fox Farms, Pribilof Islands, Reindeer, Seal Meat, Wireless Stations, General assessment of needs. PACKED with fabulous black and white photographs, many of Native Americans, dwellings, chiefs, settlements, early fisherfolk and canneries, maps, diagrams, etc.
