Washington: Gales & Seaton, 1827. Very Good/No Jacket. Cloth with leather labels on spine with gold letter. Spine label reads: "Georgia Controversy". An important source of information on the secession of lands by the Creek Indians in Georgia, including memorials, documents, correspondence, and testimony of participants, from 1823 - 1827. This book came from the library of former Creek Indian Chief W.E. "Dode" Mcintosh. Also laid in: stapled pamplet (9pgs) "Georgia's Landmarks, Memorials and Legends" The pamplet only contains Chapter XXXV (McIntosh Rock: Where the Most Famous of Georgia Treaties was made with the Creeks). A very nice copy of this most detailed account of the Creek history in Georgia. ***PROMPT, PROFESSIONAL, SERVICE!***
