London: J. M. Dent & Sons Ltd., 1920. First Edition. Very good+ in green cloth covered boards with tarnished gilt text on the spine and deeply embossed borders around the edges of the boards together with a blind embossed seal on the front board. The rear hinge is cracked, but the joint remains tight. There are three small stains to the fore edge of the text block which are not of any consequence. In a good, unclipped (the price appears on the spine area) dust jacket with 1/3" chips across the upper edge of the spine area which is also heavily tanned. There is a 1 1/4" curved closed tear at the upper inside corner of the front panel and both panels are lightly soiled around their edges. 416 pages of text. The contents are clean and free of any damage or prior ownership markings of any kind.
