A SUPERB ASSOCIATION COPY of the First Edition, inscribed on the title page by Stafford to fellow poet, and close friend William Matchett: For our friend's the Matchetts at Roethke Reading Time-- The Staffords, per Bill Stafford. Matchett's bookplate and date of October 1966 on the ffep; also laid in loose is a Christmas card from the Staffords to Matchett, with a nice family photo, dated 1969 (see image).
