Boston: Mrs. Waldron P. Belknap, (1955). 19 pages. 4to. Stiff paper covers; plastic comb binding. Printed on rectos only, the text comprising facsimiles of handwritten notes. A very good copy.

Descriptions and/or notes on 18th century portraits in Bermuda or by Bermudian painters. The author was an independent researcher interested in colonial portraiture until his untimely death. These notes were published posthumously by his mother who carried on with his research.
