Original lithographic plates by Toulouse-Lautrec (Zimmermann et sa machine), Helleu (Femme et enfants), Caran D' Ache (Un chapitre des memoires du General Marbot, folding), and Forain (Le Monde).

One of the 45 copies on Japon Imperial paper which were sent to the world leaders of the time, including both the French and the American Presidents, the Pope, Queen Victoria, and Leo Tolstoy as listed on the colophon.

This luxurious, eclectic, elite, and worldly review published in French, la Revue Franco-Americaine counted a total of three issues between June and August 1895, of which this is the first.
It features illustrations by eminent turn-of-the-century artists, and literary contributors by Leon Tolstoy and Stephane Mallarme, Alphonse Daudet, Jules Renard, and many others.
Extremely Rare: Online search located 2 holdings at the University of Glasgow Library and Colorado State University Library.
Housed in a navy presentation folder with embossed logo, original color embossed wrappers, titles in green and blue to spine and front cover, untrimmed, lithographic plates loosely inserted as issued. Wear to wrappers and folder, pages separations, most pages uncut, internally clean copy.
