London: William Heinemann, 1919. Vellum. Very Good. 9.5" by 6". None. A bright, limited edition of John Masefield's narrative poem, 'Reynard the Fox'. Limited edition, numbered 142 of 250 copies signed by John Masefield to the limitation page. 'Reynard the Fox' has been critically compared to the works of Geoffrey Chaucer. John Masefield was an English poet and writer. He was Poet Laureate from 1930 until 1967. His best known novels include 'The Midnight Folk' and 'The Box of Delights'. In a quarter vellum binding, with paper covered boards. Externally, very smart with light patches of rubbing to the spine. Handling marks to the boards. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright with occasional light spots to pages. Very Good
