8vo. 180 c 1230 mm., [7 x 5 inches].  96 pp.  Printed paper back wrappers; chipped at spine, upper wrapper a bit loose.


First edition.  A blurb on the front cover reads in part:  "Can you really claim to be skilled housewives? Are you sure that the lunches you prepare are always appetizing and varied? An invaluable guide will help you create the pleasure of the table in your home!"  Much of the text is a narrative of how to prepare a menu, choose ingredients, and cook delicious food for the family. 


Nico Ferrini could be the son of the more famous Italian cookery writer, Lina Ferrini who published a number of important recipe books before the WWII.
