About This Item
New York: Charles Scribner's Sons, 1952. Hardcover. Very Good/Good. Rickey" by Charles Calitri. 1952, published by Charles Scribner's Sons in New York. Signed by the author with its original dust jacket. 5.75'' x 8.5'', 216 pages. The dust jacket is in good condition. Toned, with the cover illustration clear and clean. A little scratched and creased with some small amount of tearing and paper loss, mainly on the spine. The original price of $2.75 is present on the front flap. Small stains on the back flap and on the author's biography on the back cover. The book is in very good plus condition. The boards are a little sunned and faded, more so on the back board and the spine than the front. The silver lettering on the spine and front board is well-preserved. Very little shelf wear to the spine, with no bumping and only slight scuffing on the corners.A previous owner's signature is at the top of the front endpaper. The author's signature is below that in black ink, with what appears to read "N.Y.U. 1955" below. Two miniscule foxing stains on the fore-edge. The text block is toned but bright, clean, and complete. The binding is sound.
