New York: Charles Scribner's Sons, 1952 216pp. Former owner bookplate inside front board. Top edge of both boards have moderate sunning. Spine heel of rear board has a very small hole. Boards have a small bend. Tips and spine ends are bumped and rubbed. Top edge is dust stained. Top edge has very small stains. Spine panel and flap folds of jacket are heavily sunned. Top edge of jacket is heavily sunned. Jacket has chipping at the spine ends, not affecting the title, author, or publisher. Spine head is missing pieces not affecting the title. Flap folds are missing small pieces at the tips. Spine edge of rear panel has many small surface tears. Top edge of front panel has a small surface tear, not affecting the illustration. Inside spine panel and flap folds are darkened. Inside front panel and inside flap folds have light rippling. Front flap fold has many small surface tears vertically its length. Text is clean and unmarked. . First Edition. Hardcover. Good/Fair Jacket.
