Some sunning to black spine cloth where the jacket is chipped. The jacket has loss at both spine ends; fairly minor at the head and about 2" at the foot. There is also some rubbing and small creased tears. $12.50 publisher's price on front flap of jacket; no names or other marking in or on the book. A classic in espionage fiction, this book was first published in 1903 and combines expertise in sailing and a description of the German Secret Service activity in Europe prior to WWI.
