An uncommon reprint, in Ward, Lock & Co's 'Lily Series', this being publication 37 in said series. In the original unclipped dust wrapper.Young Rosamund Lindley requests the help of her wealthy but eccentric relative for help in a project; though he refuses and dies shortly after, he leaves her an antique ruby ring in his will.Illustrated with a colour frontispiece. Two pages of adverts to the rear. Prize label to the recto of the front endpaper, presenting this work from the Greenfield Baptist Sunday School to Anita Walters in 1925.Collated, complete.
