About This Item

The Rise and Fall of the Choctaw Republic - Angie Debo (1961 Signed 2nd Edition Vintage Hardcover w/DJ) Non-Fiction Illustrated History

From the Civilization of the American Indian series.

Copyright 1961 and published January 1961 by University of Oklahoma Press (Oklahoma). Second Edition as stated on the copyright page. Signed and inscribed by the author on the title page.

Dust jacket is price clipped on the front flap. Jacket shows wear to include heavy sunfade (particularly the spine), nicks, scuffs, chips, tears, heavy shelfwear, tanning to the edges and hinges, and a heavy crease to the front flap hinge. Also, the jacket has a few areas where it was previously taped, where the tape is still visible. Hardcovers show wear such as tanning to the top edge, nicks, spots, scuffs, scratches, and shelfwear. The pastedowns show tanning underneath the jacket flap. Front pastedown has an insert from the publisher adhered towards the top. Besides the signature, there does not appear to be any writing in the text. Overall, this book is in Very Good condition.
