Reviews

On Sep 27 2022, a reader said:
I first learned of Heller via the Mountain & Prairie podcast (worth checking out as well) & was interested in the author's adventure writing background. After reading this book in two days, I can officially say I am a major fan of Peter Heller. Complex characters, a great setting & a story that reminds me of questionable/memorable trips with friends from college. (Although, thankfully, ours never turned quite so dark & foreboding.)

One of my favorite books. It has it all - outdoor adventure, deep friendship, struggle and heartbreak.
