This is a well-known title but I had never come across it until this summer when a local community group was clutter-clearing its shelves of well-intentioned donated books.
I wasn't even thinking of taking it home until the admin of the place remarked that she had read it many years ago, but that she might rescue this one from the dump by bringing it home with her.
This got my attention!,
and when a second copy of same title came up, i took advantage of the sign i was receiving!
..and had it in my rucksack next.
It remained there for the next week.. until i remembered and then wondered what I'd come home with.
Well
I can see why the title has become a classic since its publication.
When you look at the chapter titles, they promise alot. But once you dive in, you are not disappointed.
I wondered WHO would NOT find this book refreshing and a godsend?
Perhaps if personal development
or transpersonal interests
or human psychology (in layman terms) did not appeal ... or if one's language was basic
(Look for a translation!)
...but for everyone else,
I cannot recommend giving a chance
to this classic volume on being the best human one can be.
