New York and Toronto: Longmans, Green and Co., 1949. First edition, 1949. Navy cloth with gilt spine lettering, 254 pages with extensive index, printed dustjacket. The book is in very good condition with some edgewear including lightly scuffed bottom left front cover corner, sound text block, good hinges, frontis portrait loose but still attached, clean pages with no names or other markings. The mylar protected dustjacket is not priceclipped and is in good condition, with rubbed and mildly chipped extremities. . First Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good/Good. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
