Doctor Hudson's Secret Journal has a dustjacket but missing a piece at the top of the spine and smaller tears price intact. 1939 on title page and no other listings(1928 statement) First Edition. Because this edition is cheaply made I don't think it was only Very Good - at pressing. The text block seems to be holding very well but feels a little loose but its not, soiling to the covers and DJ, too so it rates a Good or better. In one of the photos where it shows 2 books this one is on the left and the owner has ink their name, luckily it is small.
Forgive Us Our Trespasses 12th Printing, it is missing I think 2 pages from the front, like the small title page and maybe a blank page but it is the right hand book of the 2. This one would make a good gap filler or remove the page with the Signature Only and tip in to your favorite book or album. It is a decent book just minor shelfwear ,spine bruising and of course cheaply made., In removing those pages it exposed the webbing, only loose there.
The Robe is the 1st Printing of the 1947 edition, that is why it is bigger, better made. Its tight, square and just minor soiling to the page ends and the Red Cloth covers. Someone added a clear plastic overcoat(Brodart/Mylar) its removable like a dustjacket but it has kept the book looking good longer. The lettering is done in Gold and looks very good with the red cloth. Because this book was made better it deserves a Very Good- rating. The author's inscription is just inside on the back of the cover, and below that the Previous Owner did an inscription as well as seen in the picture or I might have given a + ...
