Chicago: The John C. Winston Company. Good. ©1923. Hardcover. 352 p. 22 cm. Copyright date only. A little shaken in its green, cloth-covered boards binding with pictorial pastedown to upper board. Corners softened and worn through. Spine cloth is rippled, has a tiny hole, and the title on it faded. Stain on top edge of text block. Both boards show some soil and rubbing. Previous owner's names and cross outs on the endpapers. Occasional margin soil to the inside pages which are still bright. An edition of the classic tale of Robin Hood and his band of Merry Men in Sherwood Forest. Includes four full colour plates and numerous black and white illustrations by Edwin J. Prittie. A classic title from the publisher's "The Children's Bookshelf" series. .
