About This Item
New York: Harcourt Brace Jovanovich, 1974. An early humanitarian, "Casement three times achieved an international reputation, and the third time he died for it" (from the dustjacket) - sentenced to death by England for his Irish nationalist activities. Green cloth binding with gilt lettering on the spine. Clean text; 448 pages, index and bibliography. Light sunfade around the margins, else a Fine copy. The dustjacket is unclipped, shows some edgewear and one small tear at the foot of the spine. In an archival plastic protector. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. First American Edition.. Hard Cover. Near Fine/Very Good Plus.
