About This Item
New York: Frederick Warne & Company. Very Good- with no dust jacket. 1908. Hardcover. Red cloth boards with pictorial pastedown rubbed on points, title lettering on spine quite faint and barely visible, a few stains to rear panel. Name written on front decorated endpaper. Dampstain along page edges only has caused red dye to bleed in varying degrees on only some pages, fairly unobtrusive. Missing page 37/38. One page slightly detached with rough edge, overall still a handsome early printing of this Beatrix Potter title with 18 color plates. ; MCF04010; 12mo 7" - 7½" tall; 69 pp .
