New York, New York: Grove Press, Inc., 1968. MMPB. Good. First Thus Four volumes, originally published between 1873 and 1876, telling the erotic tales of Charlie Roberts in the Victorian age. Zebra Books Z-1028 with rather mod cover photo by J.F. Bauret that does not particularly jive with the contents. Spine stress around middle where the cardstock subscription insert remains, though is not split. Areas of discoloration along top and bottom of spine, and a browned area on top left corner of back cover. Lean to alignment visible in photo. More of a reading or placeholder copy. Packed and shipped with care.
