United Kingdom: H.F. & G. Witherby. Good. 1929. First Edition. Hardcover. A Good hardcover without dustjacket. Aged, somewhat soiled and faded, green boards, bumped and rubbed to the corners. Spine faded, bumped and rubbed to ends. Internally, label (presumably identifying previous owner) clumsily removed leaving rubbed spot. Shadowed endpapers, foxed half title page. No writing or stamps, toned, occasionally lightly foxed, pages, tanned and foxed to rough-cut text-block edges. Two tissue folding maps intact but one torn at hinge. All plates present. Unattractive externally but a solid useful copy of a very scarce title. Carefully packaged and despatched within 48 hours from our wee bookshop in Scotland.; Charts; 60x40; 319 pages .
