New York: Charles Scribner's Son, 1910. 219 pp, green gilt stamped cloth over board covers with applied litho. B&W illustrations and plates, 68 in total. This is a travel tourism book for the state of California. The author asserts that "California possesses many of the charms that we are accustomed to associate only with certain parts of the Old World." The author takes the reader all over California from San Francisco, to the Farallon Islands to the mountains. Illustrated by the author. Measures 9" x 6 1/2" Edge wear due to rubbing, particularly, on back strip. Moderate cover wear. Inscription by previous owner. Cracked hinges.
