Signed and inscribed by F.D.R.'s daughter, Anna Roosevelt Boettiger (Halsted), on the front free endpaper: "Dear Mr. Hight, I have enjoyed knowing your daughter, Arlene, and she has told me of your admiration for my father, President Roosevelt. With this gift to you from your daughter, may I send my good wishes also, too. Anna Roosevelt Boettiger. Phoenix, Arizona. July 17th, 1947." VERY GOOD in Very Good dust jacket protected in a removable archival cover. The book itself shows marginal shelf rubbing of the extremities, slight discoloration of the text-block edges, otherwise the binding is strong and tight, the text is clean and unmarked, and the boards remain bright and distinct. The dust jacket shows slight toning, marginal shelf rubbing of the extremities, head and foot of the spine rubbed, otherwise is not price-clipped remaining bright, colorful, and distinct. As pictured.
Synopsis
