London: Chatto & Windus, 1899. Hardcover. Very Good. Light brown buckram boards with gilt lettered spine. Edges of boards darkened, spine too. Head and heel of spine and corners with very light wear. Book collector William MacDonald Mackay's bookplate tipped in to front pastedown with a neatly illustrated gift inscription by MacKay. A very clean copy, very good. An early edition with the later state ads.
