About This Item
Berkeley: project staff, 1976. Staplebound. Variously paginated, some one hundred leaves printed rectos only, commencing with presentations to numerous sympathetic outlets, followed by distribution plans and staff biographies, terminating with interviews with still-living "Rosies". Paperstock is lightweight standard-leaf, corner-stapled through & through, the resulting fascicle enclosed in a clear acetate folder fastened with a sliding plastic spine. A somewhat repulsive copy: spine is splitting, the lone staple has rusted mightily with nasty migration, and a top-edge damp-stain has mildewed and marred every top margin of every leaf with speckled discoloration. However, item is complete and handleable and the only one we are likely to ever see. The opening sequence of feeler-responses are positive, from union honchos to Random House. Connie's vita --her behind-the-movie-camera life-- is impressive.
